About
[sm] magazine
Spilt Milk Magazine is an independent publication from the Lower East Side of Manhattan, built around the unpolished, honest perspectives of artists and the diverse subcultures that surround them. Adjacent to fashion and music, but squarely rooted in art and free expression, Spilt Milk operates without a fixed formula. It is earnest, unconventional, and deliberately unpolished—willing to set rules, break rules, or make its own when necessary. Founded by local graffiti writer Jet BBB, Spilt Milk documents culture from inside it, creating a publication that is entirely its own. About
[sm] TEAM
THE TEAM Spilt Milk is a team of recruits from all walks of life, brought together by the desire to make something earnest enough to stand on its own—before profit, before clout. There is no roster. Just people with something to offer: a friend who knows InDesign, someone who knows how to promote, a photographer, a painter, a musician, someone we met at a bar who writes incredible poetry. Everyone has a role. Sometimes we invent one. Our community is our team. We align around the mission, make something happen, and move forward. Our team is all but none.
